In deciding among competing suppliers, it is our goal to weigh all facts objectively and impartially in making an award, and to avoid even the appearance of favoritism.

United Space Alliance employees, who buy goods or services, and those otherwise involved in procurement activities for the company, are prohibited from accepting gifts from suppliers, with the exception of advertising or promotional items of a nominal value.

Suppliers are urged to respect the limitations that United Space Alliance places on its employees in accepting gifts or other items of value, and to avoid putting our employees in an uncomfortable situation by offering them gifts or other favors that they cannot accept.

Conflicts of interest also run counter to fair treatment and good procurement policies. Our goal is to avoid any relationship, influence, or activity that might impair or even appear to impair our ability to make objective and fair decisions when performing our jobs.
