How to Do Business With United Space Alliance
You've taken the first important step by connecting to our supplier portal. This is the place to make your first connections and introduce your company to USA.

Authority to Commit
The authority to commit purchase orders for United Space Alliance resides within the Procurement organization only. Commitments or changes made by other Company organizations are not valid. Price quotations shall be presented only to the Procurement organization.

Marketing Materials
You will need to provide brochures, catalogs, equipment listings, names of principal customers; anything you have that is germane to your products and/or services and will give the buyer an understanding of your company's capabilities.

Bidding Opportunities
Inquire about current or upcoming requirements. Ask for the opportunity to bid. Be aware that the buyers and/or subcontract administrators are contacted by many suppliers during the course of a day.  Therefore be concise and clear when conveying your capabilities and in answering questions asked by the buyers. USA may not have a requirement that matches your capabilities at present, but will consider your company as a potential source for future requirements.

Supplier Selection
Potential suppliers who wish to do business with USA must be able to demonstrate their ability and capacity to provide the products and/or services at competitive prices. Prospective suppliers must show their capability to perform according to USA's standards. They must also meet the material, processes and procedure specifications which are identified in all procurements.

Know Your Capabilities
One of the first steps in becoming a good supplier is taking inventory of your resources and determining your capability to handle contracts. Keep market and government prime contractor's demands in mind when determining what areas and resources need to be developed or enhanced to compete effectively.

Know Your Market
Today, due to rapid technological advancements, business is more complex than ever before. To keep pace with this changing environment, USA is looking for suppliers who have innovative ideas and technical know-how while continuing to emphasize price, performance, quality and delivery.

As a supplier, you will need to understand the differences between the commercial marketplace and the technical and administrative requirements encountered in performing work for a government prime contractor.

Performance
Once you have been awarded the contract, follow through on all commitments and work closely with your USA buyer or subcontract administrator on any potential problems.
